Broken Water Pipe in the Activities Room

On the morning of January 14th, SERVPRO of Weymouth  received a call from an apartment building in Braintree, MA to inform our office that their facility sustained a water pipe break. It largely damaged the building's function/activity room, and also affected the entire basement. Our crews went out to meet with the facility workers while they were doing their best to mitigate the damage. We quickly assessed the damages and started the water extraction of all floorings and removed all obstructions that were continuously falling. The crews worked many hours into the late afternoon to get the water, ceilings and acoustical tiles cleaned up and also cleaned and disinfected the carpeting in the function room so the apartment building could have this area back up and operating by the next day. The management office and facilities team could not thank us enough on how fast and responsive we were to respond to and arrive at their facility and were relieved to be able to keep  finish their day to day operations without ay interruptions.
